Once they turned the machine on, all electronic devices stopped working, All our machines had stopped firing.

We couldn't fight their war with pure infantry. Without artillery, heavy ordinance It was a slaughter Earth had never experienced the likings of.

Everyone who had survived the battle was just waiting for their death, huddled in a corner silently weeping for what once was a time without war, but now nothing, nothing but the pure silence in the air, no more planes, bombs, gun fire, screaming, nothing... Earth had fallen to silence.

Not even the caw of a bird in the distance was heard, just the dust slowly falling in the still air, of what used to be a once proudly standing military hanger.
